It serves as an astonishing reservoir of knowledge on a great number of topics, which embrace a whole variety of information: from the roots of DNA and drone technologies - to the secrets of aether and the new water science. It miraculously combines global scientific innovations with spirituality and natural mysteries.
There was a lot of information on related seminars, sites and projects on the pages of this issue. All of them were interesting and useful to know about, but the most impressive among them was the Phoenix Voyage Project. It unites people and organizations from all over the world in their mighty effort to inspire every individual to make a contribution to the development of peace and safety on our planet.

written by Olga Ovadiuk | Every man is a part of the world around. We are closely connected with nature: it gives us shelter and sustenance, medicines and protection. In ancient times, man worshipped nature and understood how important it was to preserve the necessary resources. Unfortunately, in our time this connection is lost. |
The future of mankind depends on the level of ecological culture of each person. In these conditions, the ecological education of children, our future, acquires a priority. A child with his desire to learn, with unquenchable curiosity and with an inventive, creative imagination, receives joy and satisfaction from contact with nature. It is extremely important to support children's cognitive interest since environmental education is primarily the education of the humanity, goodwill, emotional responsiveness of children and their curiosity about the surrounding world. |
What can serve this aim better than a fascinating comic book about nature’s superheroes! Kids love comic books for their dynamism; it is even hard to imagine our lives today without bright, colorful, courageous, and funny superheroes. I’ve read the first issue of “The Preservers”, the amazing comic book from the Genesee County Parks group, with great interest. Created in an unforgettable old-school manner, this comic book features the adventures of Mr. Frog and Grandmaster Snapper on their way to find a team of brave superheroes who can fight evil forces that threaten the environment. You will meet the Owl-girl, a night-time defender, The Green, who can make plants and trees instantly thrive and grow, the Decomposer – one of Nature’s strongest heroes, the Red Hawk, a day-time defender, Queen Bee – the pollinator, and Miss Sunflower, the queen of environmental clean-ups. |
Except for the comic story itself, there are numerous grasping activities - interesting and useful at the same time. On the History’s Preserver’s page, you will find a possibility to guess the names of many notable people who made their contribution to nature protection. Children show great interest in research, so experiments and observations from the action section in the corner of each page will add some practical experience, which, in turn, will raise kid’s motivation to learn more. Gaming exercises at the end of the book are definitely some of the best! I really enjoyed the Superhero word search and putting comics in the correct order. However, my favorite is “Finding missing onomatopoeia words “. Its impact on kids could not be overestimated - they are so fond of sound imitation!
There is only one superhero that is missing from the team! Who is this mysterious figure? Moreover, you can meet all the Superheroes from the comic book in person! Where? Do not hesitate to open this absorbing read to find out. | ![]()

The right house starts with the right neighborhood. These tips will help you find the best dog-friendly neighborhood in your new city:
- Look for a neighborhood with plenty of parks. If there’s an off-leash dog park in walking distance, even better! We all have the best intentions for getting our furry pals plenty of exercise, but there’s no denying it’s easier when fun is right outside your door.
- Keep an eye on sidewalks: Are there plenty of sidewalks, and are they in good repair? You’re less likely to take your pup for a stroll if you’ll be tripping over cracks in the sidewalk or dodging broken glass the whole time.
- Avoid neighborhoods with busy streets, especially if your dog is an escape artist. Instead, opt for a quiet area without much through traffic.
- Check for dog-friendly retail establishments nearby. Whether it’s a pet store where your pet can pick out his own bone or a brewpub with a dog-friendly patio, you’ll appreciate being able to bring your dog along on local outings.
- Get a feel for safety. It doesn’t matter how many parks or dog-friendly cafes your neighborhood has if you don’t feel safe getting to them.
Once you’ve narrowed down your home search to a few top neighborhood picks, it’s time to start the house hunt. Here’s what to keep in mind when it comes to Fido’s comfort:
- Check with homeowner associations. While it may seem silly, not all HOAs allow pets. Others may restrict the number, size, or breed of pets permitted in the neighborhood, or whether dogs may be left outside unattended.
- Prioritize a fenced yard. Whether you have a Great Dane or a Toy Poodle, your dog will need some green space to relieve himself. Larger yards mean room for backyard fetch sessions and doggy play dates, and high fences keep even the wiliest of dogs contained.
- Consider dog-friendly flooring options. Some dog owners can’t stand carpet because it collects fur and pet stains, while others avoid hardwood because it can be scratched by a rambunctious dog’s nails. Think about your flooring preferences when it comes to cleaning after pets.
- Factor your pet’s age. While most puppies can navigate a multi-story home just fine, aging dogs may struggle to get up and down staircases. Consider where the dog’s bed will be and look for houses with step-free entryways.
Moving Fido In
Now that you’ve found the perfect new house for your family, it’s time for the real work to begin. Here’s how to move with your dog without totally stressing him out:
- Pack up the old house gradually. If your dog is the kind to get excited the moment you lace up your shoes, you understand how perceptive dogs are of subtle changes in their environment.
- Wait to pack your dog’s stuff. It’s important to maintain normalcy as much as possible throughout the moving process.
- Board your pet on the day of the move. With all the commotion of moving, your dog could get extremely stressed out and possibly escape. Keep the chaos of moving day limited to the moving itself by dropping your pup off with a trusted sitter or kennel for the day.
- Set up a safe space in the new house. Stock it with his crate, bed, food and water, and favorite toys and treats. If you have an anxious dog, add a DAP diffuser or ThunderShirt to aid his adjustment.
Once you have everything in place, give your dog time to get comfortable in his new home. He may hide or seem nervous at first, but as long as you provide plenty of pets, treats, and fun distraction, your dog will quickly realize you’re not going anywhere.

However, together, we can change the world! We can find solutions to the problems that people created themselves, to make the world a better place and to leave a beautiful planet for our children and grandchildren, a peaceful and wonderful home to live in. |
Phoenix Voyage Mascot eBook “Meet the Voyagers” is a great part of this project. Though it is aimed at kids, I also think it is aimed at the kid in everybody! This is fun for the whole family, indeed.
The first thing that comes to mind when you open the pages of this amazing book is “rainbow burst”! It is quite a challenging task to win the interest of the smallest readers, but the book miraculously manages to do this with the help of great colorful visuals, funny, entertaining, and also rhyming verses, which all kids are so fond of. On the pages of this exclusive read, you will meet a group of phoenix birds, amusing, curious, astonishing, which will take you to the journey aimed at changing our world for the better! The greatest thing is that a reader here acts as a participant, which causes a feeling of deep involvement. Kids are our future, and to raise them with the attitude of caring about our planet, to teach them not to be indifferent is the greatest investment ever. |
Thankfully, there were plenty of different related activities on the Phoenix Voyage project site: additional information on mascots, cool facts and quizzes, and our favorites - printable voyager puzzles of all kinds!
I would highly recommend this book to everyone; it is funny, but also highly thought provoking and really useful.

However, it is not only modern science that has a school of thought on the purpose and function of this tiny gland situated in the human brain. Scratch the surface just a little, and you will find that for centuries the pineal gland has been contemplated by some of history’s greatest philosophers.
There may be many different philosophical and religious perspectives from the likes of Plato, Shiva, Jesus, Buddha, Descartes and Novalis but they all drew the same correlation, that the pineal gland is the ‘mind’s eye’, our ‘third eye’, our ‘all seeing eye’ and the seat of the soul, defining it as our connection between the physical and the spiritual or, the point where our inner world and outer world meet.
Their beliefs were that we were also intended to be visionary beings, to be able to exist not just in the physical but beyond the physical and connect to a higher consciousness. They recognized that the pineal gland, being a receptor of light, was our gateway for an intimate connection with the universe, allowing us to tap into an elevated state of spiritual awareness, vital to our physical and mental health, a union of the mind, body and soul and whilst our physical eyes see only what exists in the physical world, our minds eye is able to see the true world in all its beauty. |
But what if we could reach this heightened level of consciousness without having to ingest plant DMT and why, if the pineal gland naturally releases DMT, are we experiencing a spiritual disconnection on a global level?
As the human race has evolved, we have created and exposed ourselves to chemicals and toxins; these we know are not beneficial to our physical health and wellbeing and, in most cases we can choose and make our own decision to try and avoid them. However, there is one substance that is especially harmful to the pineal gland which up until recently, we were not given any choice about whatsoever.
That substance is chemical FLOURIDE. A highly toxic matter, even more so than lead, which directly targets the pineal gland. This tiny gland in our brains absorbs and accumulates fluoride, more than any other organ in our body, leading to the formation of phosphate crystals. On a biological level, as our pineal gland hardens due to the crystal production, less melatonin is produced and regulation of our wake/sleep cycle is broken and our ability to deal with stress, depression and our physical and mental strength is disrupted. |
Over the last few years in the USA there have been many published articles against the practice of water fluoridation. The public together with FAN – The Fluoride Action Network have pulled together to try to stop the addition of chemical fluoride in public water supplies when it and other chemicals added are proven to be highly toxic and detrimental to human health and child development, citing that this practice is harmfully medicating the population without their consent. |
However we feel about the fluoridation flooding, the good news is that all is not lost, we don’t need to be spiritually repressed any more. The pineal gland can be decalcified and reactivated, with some adjustment. Eliminating the fluoride is the first step towards decalcification and the easiest way to remove this toxic chemical from your drinking water is to use a water purification system. Reverse osmosis and activated alumina water purification systems are commonly recommended for removing fluoride and other toxins. |
Another important factor is sunlight, exposure to which really helps to kick start the pineal gland and prompts it to produce serotonin, the daytime neurotransmitter for mood and energy levels. Melatonin, the night time hormone secreted by the pineal gland, is important for suppressing serotonin, a necessity for our wake/sleep cycle.
As we begin to shift the focus to this tiny gland and start breaking it free from the toxins that have engulfed it we will begin to understand its benefits. We will start to perceive the ‘truth’ that surrounds us. That the world we live is full of control and in-equalities and out of harmony with the rest of the universe and the connection to all that is around us in nature will naturally feel deeper and more purposeful.
